Orthostatic hypotension is a condition in which there is a fall in blood pressure on standing up from sitting or lying position. (Hypotension is low blood pressure.) Feeling dizzy or lightheaded on standing up is a common symptom.Sometimes, people with orthostatic hypotension may even faint.
